International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) experience
Cynthia is a chartered accountant and she has for the past 5 year consulted on IFRS assignments for various companies including South African Airways Group (Airline industry), Pareto Limited (Property loan stock) and Wiphold Group (Financial services).
Cynthia is accredited by JSE as an IFRS advisor for listed companies and auditors of listed companies. She is also a member of the GAAP monitoring panel.

Cynthia’s public sector experience include performing consulting work for the public entities and also serving as the audit and risk committee member.

Before starting her own consulting company, Cynthia worked for the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants as a project director in standards division. She was responsible for the projects on development of accounting and auditing standards for pension funds, insurance, investment managers, and unit trusts.
Cynthia also work on the project to develop the GAAP for small medium entities whilst at SAICA..
